About Us

We’re done letting old labels define us.
“Lazy.” “Difficult.” “Stupid.”

“Weird.” "Self-Centred".
They were never the truth

— just the noise.

"Labels are something we use to explain stuff we can't understand.
They are an easy way out.
Let's take some time to look under the label and find out what's really going on"

A Neurodivergent Podcast That Challenges Labels

NeuroSpice & Life is our love letter to every neurodivergent human
who’s ever been told to tone it down.

We’re here to rewrite the narrative

one label at a time.

Sick of being "too-much"?

Right here — you are just enough.

We made this space for you.

"This is a pod about seeing each other for what we really are
- for accepting ourselves warts and all -
and for finding the fun and the silly in all the strangeness"

Meet Your Hosts

Freya AKA "The Happy Steam Roller"

A photo of freya, an autistic, ADHD counsellor with alexithymia. She is holding up a label saying "difficult" with a quizzical look on her face.

Freya Corboy

Counsellor, Chaos Wrangler, and Feelings Translator

Freya blends her lived experience as an AuADHDer with years of counselling and coaching.

She has a knack for turning overwhelm into clarity
and explaining complex emotional stuff like she’s chatting over coffee.

She wears her alexithymia with pride and knows that we all feel our feelings differently
— and that understanding them can be H.A.R.D. (and sometimes hilarious).

Alongside the pod, Freya runs Mumshine, a counselling and coaching practice dedicated to making life a little brighter for neurodivergent mums.

You can visit mumshine at www.mumshine.com.au

Freya has dropped the mask — and wants to help you do the same one moment at a time

Hanna AKA "The Loveable Weirdo"

Hanna Hosking, an AuADHD sexologist and neuroaffirming sex therapist is looking at the camera with a label of "stupid" stuck to her head. She is pointing at it with an expression of dismay.

Hanna Hosking

Sexologist, Oversharer, and Relatable Human Extraordinaire

Hanna brings warmth, wit, and a radically honest take on connection and self-acceptance.

She is a sexologist, educator, and proud AuADHDer who believes that

curiosity is the cornerstone of connection.

Hanna opens space for conversations we are often too shy to start — about relationships, intimacy, identity, and the messy beauty of being human.

Through her practice, The Sensologist, Hanna helps people

explore sexuality and relationships in a neuroaffirming, shame-free way

— because connection, pleasure, safety, and self-acceptance should never be out of reach.

You can visit The Sensologist at www.thesensologist.com

Hanna takes taboo topics and turns them into “oh thank god, it’s not just me” moments.

Fave season 1 episode: Self-Centred

The neurospice and life podcast cover showing a spice jar exploding in rainbow powder representing the different types of neurodiversity including autism, ADHD, Tourette's, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, OCD. There is a label on the jar peeling off representing unfair labels like lazy, stupid and difficult that are incorrectly applied to the neurodivergent community.
The neuropsce and life logo. It has the words "neruospice and life" in black handwriting on a white background. It is surrounded by 7 hand drawn circles layered on top of each other. They are in rainbow colours to represent the neurodiversity unity symbol. The circle shows the life long connection between the two hosts who are best friends and the process of ongoing learning. The scribble nature of the circles is also acknowledging stimming and other neuroaffirming practices.
